- Hand wash only using a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics.
- Rinse gently in cold water. Do not soak the costume, as some Indian fabrics and dyes may release color when left in water.
- Wash dark and bright colors separately if needed.
- Hang to air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
- Avoid direct sunlight while drying to help preserve vibrant colors, sequins, stones, embroidery, and decorative trims.
- Do not bleach, machine wash, or tumble dry.
- Do not wring or twist the fabric. Gently press out excess water with a towel if needed.
- If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting on the reverse side or place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from prolonged humidity.
- Keep embellishments away from perfumes, hairspray, and harsh chemicals.
